ParisFaux: I just had to comment on this lol. But, I totally agree with you. A lot of people celebrate the holidays for only 2 things! SEX and DRUGS. Everyone wants to have fun, but why forget about the true meaning of the holidays? It’s like your taking things less seriously as you should. Drinking, Smoking, and Sex can all be enjoyed at home during your own time. But, why do that, and ruin a great holiday?

I feel as though we’ve all lost the true meaning of holidays. It’s as though, holidays are just an excuse to party and drink now days. It’s sad. I remember when Halloween was all about being scared, and just having fun remembering that this day was for spirits to walk around the earth. Now it’s about how slutty girls can look, or how manly guys can look in a dress or just in underwear and getting drunk and hooking up. It’s so fucking pathetic. Christmas is now just a time get presents, get dressed up in your best winter clothes and get drunk at parties. I remember when holidays were amazing. Halloween had this creepy vibe to it, knowing that there’s things we can’t see just walking around, not about where the bet party is. Christmas used to be my favorite, the feeling of being warm in ice cold weather. When everyone is happy, and a family can be a family. Now it’s about seeing who can get the best presents for each other. Christmas has become a contest. It’s really sad. What the fuck are we doing. If we keep this up, then the entire meaning of holidays are going to be totally lost.
